2026-27 Confirmation Classes

• WHAT? 2-year Confirmation program.
• WHO? Youth grades 7 and up.
• WHEN? 9:45-10:45am each week during Sunday School.
• WHERE? Youth Room at Abiding Christ.
• WHY? Prepares youth to be active young adults & voting members of ACLC.
• HOW? Contact a pastor, Heather McGee, or the church office.
• Orientation: Sept. 13 at 10:15am in the Youth Room.

Family Promise 4-10 October

• Sign-up board in Narthex
• Generally, we are preparing food for 20- 25 people with over half of them being children/teenagers.
• Individuals, pairs, or groups can provide meals.
• Prepared food can be dropped off in Xenia for Family Promise staff to serve or meal providers can stay and serve their food.

2026 Bazaar

The list for the basket themes for the Bazaar raffle are set!We will have close to 20 baskets again this year. Plus we will also have the quilt and afghan raffle. There are many items needed to fill the baskets. The list of needed items is in the Narthex. Choose one or more (!) tags, buy the items and place them in the tote below the list by Sept 20th. The baskets will then be ready for the congregation Raffle on Sept. 27th, Oct. 4th, and Oct. 11th.

Hope for Tomorrow; Strength for Today 8-Week Revelation Series

Back by popular request, Abiding Christ invites you to an extended Revelation Study Series. Starting September 9th through October 28th, the Wednesday Night Worship service will include readings and messages on the Book of Revelation with group Bible Study to follow. The community meal begins at 6pm, Worship with Holy Communion at 6:15pm, and additional study begins at 7pm and ends at 7:45pm. We look forward to exploring the Hope for Tomorrow and Strength for Today offered to us as we follow and worship the Lamb of God together!

Midweek Pause

"Every Wednesday from 12:15 to 12:45, folks from across the Lutheran Saints in Ministry Collaborative are invited to gather over Zoom for Midweek Pause. During this time, we will hear the Word of God and have time set aside to sit, be, and be grounded in God's love and grace for us today. This time is intended to be a gift shared in community, reminding you that you are not alone and that there are others who appreciate such grounding and meaningful quiet time too. • Please make sure name & date is on the envelope
• Old offering envelopes are still accepted until gone

GREETING CARDS

Weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, thank you, thinking of you, get well, bridal shower ... need a card, we have lots!! If you don't see something that you need, ask me about it because we have some that are not out because we don't have room for every occasion. Always remember when you give us a card to remake, please give us the whole card and not just the front. Thank you.
